Statement Of Faith

We, the members of Kingdom Outreach Evangelistic Ministries Inc. stand firmly upon the eternal Word of God. We believe that the Holy Scriptures are the foundation for faith and practice, and that Jesus Christ is the chief cornerstone of the Church. As an Apostolic body of believers, we exist to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, make disciples of all nations, and prepare the world for His soon return.

Articles of Faith

Article I – The Scriptures

We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, and is the final rule of faith and conduct.

(2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:21)

Article II – The One True God

We believe in the one true and living God, who has revealed Himself as Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration and empowerment. This one God is fully manifested in the Lord Jesus Christ.

(Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 9:6; John 1:1,14; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)

Article III – The Lord Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is both God and man, conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, crucified for our sins, resurrected bodily, ascended into heaven, and is coming again as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

(Matthew 1:21–23; John 14:6; Acts 4:12; Romans 1:3–4)

Article IV – The Gospel of Salvation

We believe that salvation is by grace through faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is His death, burial, and resurrection. The biblical response to the Gospel is:

  1. Repentance from sin.

  2. Water Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins.

  3. The Baptism of the Holy Ghost, evidenced by speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.
    (Acts 2:38; Romans 6:3–4; 1 Corinthians 15:1–4; Acts 10:44–48)

Article V – Holiness and Sanctification

We believe that God commands His people to live holy and separate from the world. Holiness is the standard of life for all believers, evidenced in both inward purity and outward conduct.

(Romans 12:1–2; 2 Corinthians 6:17; Hebrews 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15–16)

Article VI – The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ, composed of all who have been born again of water and Spirit. The mission of the Church is to evangelize the world, make disciples, serve in love, and demonstrate the Kingdom of God on earth.

(Matthew 28:19–20; Acts 2:41–42, 47; Ephesians 4:11–13)

Article VII – The Gifts of the Spirit and Gifts To The Church

We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation today and are essential for the growth, edification, and ministry of the body of Christ.

(1 Corinthians 12:4–11; Romans 12:6–8; Acts 2:17–18)

Article VIII – Communion (The Lord’s Supper)

We believe in the observance of the Lord’s Supper, in remembrance of the death of Jesus Christ, until He comes again. The bread represents His broken body, and the cup represents His shed blood for the remission of sins. This sacred act is to be partaken of reverently by all born-again believers.

(Luke 22:19–20; 1 Corinthians 11:23–26)

Article IX – Supporting the Church Financially

We believe that believers are called to support the work of the ministry through generous and cheerful giving, as taught in the New Testament. Financial stewardship is an expression of worship, obedience, and love for God. Contributions are used for the care of the ministry, the needs of the saints, and the advancement of the Gospel.

  • Jesus taught that giving is blessed by God. (Luke 6:38)

  • The early church gave freely to meet the needs of others. (Acts 2:44–45; Acts 4:32–35)

  • Believers are instructed to give cheerfully and willingly, not reluctantly or under compulsion. (2 Corinthians 9:6–7)

  • The church is supported by the giving of its members, so that those who preach the Gospel may live by the Gospel. (1 Corinthians 9:13–14; 1 Timothy 5:17–18)

  • Collections were received on the first day of the week for the work of the ministry. (1 Corinthians 16:1–2)

Article X – The Second Coming of Christ

We believe in the imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ: first to rapture His Church, and later to return with His saints to reign in righteousness upon the earth.

(1 Thessalonians 4:16–17; Acts 1:11; Revelation 20:4–6)

Article XI – The Resurrection and Eternal Destiny

We believe in the resurrection of the dead, both the righteous and the wicked: the righteous unto eternal life with Christ, and the wicked unto eternal separation from God.

(John 5:28–29; Revelation 20:11–15; Daniel 12:2)
